K with Keys (cut out letter and glued keys on it)
Kidney Bean relay
Jump like a Kangaroo
Kissing the Kind King eating Kiwi in the Kitchen
Made cookies to take to the Kids at the bus stop.
|lined up the cookies and pretended they were a train's load...boys.|
super easy and kid-chef friendly
1 cup Nutella
1 cup flour
(I add a little canola oil)
350 for 8 minutes.
We took the cookies to all the kids at Princess P's bus stop. This gave us a great opportunity to talk about being kind to others and to talk to others, period...a skill Bubby needs work on in general. We worked on using kind words and saying "would you like a cookie?" and looking our friends in the eye. Little things are big steps for preschoolers.
On the Kind note, we started this chart for the week:
At co-op we told the kids that if they earned all the stickers, then we would have a special treat next week at school. Well, yesterday I found that Bubby had snuck his paper down and covered it with stickers (we're only on the 3rd day). He said, "Mommy, I have all my stickers! Can I get the big treat now?!" Oh to be 3. I'm making him earn all the stickers he put on the chart and haven't decided about school next week...
We listened a lot to Sovereign Grace's To Be Like Jesus music this week, especially the You Show Me Kindness song.
